Six years after my old radio station moved from London’s Camden Lock down to Oxford Circus I ran into the receptionist who had guarded the old building’s lobby.

“Oh hello, Alastair. Do you know, I still get more mail for you than anyone else at the radio station. More, for that matter, than many of the people who work here now!”
