It has been quite a year for Instagram. After watching its community grow from one million users to over fifteen million users, it was honored as a 2011 iPhone App of the Year. Yesterday, Instagram revealed the 15 most popular places where Instagram photos were taken in 2011.

Number one on the list may come as no big surprise as it is “the happiest place on earth” and “the place where memories are made.” That place is Disneyland.
