The British Guild of Travel Writers is running its annual Travel Writing Competition for new writers, in association with Traveller magazine.

The competition, now in its third year, is designed to encourage new travel writing talent and is open to all (English language) writers aged over 18 who have not been published in the travel field. Entrants should submit an 800-word article on the theme A Revealing Journey.
