The major travel industry show, ITB in Berlin (March 2013) has announced a partnership with PTBA, and in the next 24 hours travel bloggers will be openly invited to sign up for PTBA membership on the association’s new website.

Our friends at Expedia want to invite you to submit your idea of how you would explore a city using Expedia. The trip is open to any English language bloggers. You can submit and centre your itinerary around anything, choosing a particular theme such as art, fashion, food, or incorporating a bit of everything.
On Wednesday night the best in travel writing, photography and broadcasting were celebrated at the 4th British Travel Press Awards, held at RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) in London.
The event also marked the announcement of the new Travel Blogger of the year, which means that we have to say goodbye to the previous reigning blogger queen, Jayne Gorman (blog 40 before 30) and hello to Emily Chappell (That Emily Chappell) Britain’s new travel blogger of the year.
